To put things in context, London was my fifth international city as a coach, after Bangkok, Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore.

This was my first trip to London, where I worked with South Asian men on their confidence, social interactions and dating.

And London hit the ball out of the park for me. I could do so much with my clients using the vibe, flow and demographics of the city.

London made me do it differently

Usually, my coaching sessions begin in the afternoon, and each day is divided into two halves.

However, London made me do it differently. We started in the morning, and each day was divided into three parts.

London mornings have a great social atmosphere. People going to cafés, sitting outdoors and walking by, especially in neighbourhoods where locals spend time.

This helped me work with my clients on tuning into a slower, calmer pace of social interaction.

It also helped me work on non-verbal communication with women walking by, general social communication, mindset reframing and practising groundedness.

And all of this in the morning itself.

As a coach, it was quite satisfying.

We resumed the coaching session in the afternoon. Anyone who knows London will agree that Central London is a total vibe. And not only Central London. Even the Tube stations have an atmosphere of their own.

As we walked through the streets, entered stores, sat in cafés and visited museums and cathedrals, there was never a dull moment.

Beautiful women were all around.

This helped me work with my clients on so many layers, both internally and externally.

For example, identifying assumptions held in their subconscious, developing contextual and social intelligence, learning the art of approaching women, and reading the moment for better conversations.

Let me not forget a few more important aspects: being self-aware, maintaining a state of internal harmony in the midst of chaos, and being undefensive around women they found very attractive.

Beyond that, London allowed me to really style my clients. There is so much character to shopping in London.

I may be forgetting a few more aspects because there was so much around us.

Imagine this going on day after day.

“I never thought something as simple as this could work”

The third part of each day in London started late at night.

One moment at a cocktail bar comes to mind.

There were two stunning girls seated next to my client. He wanted to start a conversation with the one immediately to his right.

I could see it on his face. He was trying to find the “right words” to open an interaction.

I whispered in his ear, “Keep it simple. As simple as possible. It works.”

He took his time, turned to her and said, “What are you drinking?”

She replied gladly, and they spoke for a good eight to ten minutes before the girls had to leave.
He seemed relieved and said to me, “I never thought something as simple as this could work.”

There was an assumption right there: that starting a conversation with a woman he found attractive required something more than a simple, ordinary question.

In that moment, he got to experience something different for himself.

The pace and energy of the night

Our nights revolved around cocktail bars and clubs. The streets in the parts of Central London we visited tended to be quieter at night.

The nights allowed me to debunk some of my clients’ myths around clubs and bars. One of them was that clubs were “easy mode” for getting the attention of girls.

Being in a club doesn’t automatically make getting attention easier. How you carry yourself, read the room and interact still matters.

Additionally, even while waiting in the queue to enter a cocktail bar, I got to coach my client on bringing playfulness into interactions more quickly, in tune with the pace and energy of the night.

Overall, my coaching experience in London was 11/10.
